Faktor Resiko Kejadian Benigna Prostat Hiperplasia (BPH) Di Poli Klinik Urologi Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Kendari

Abstract

Jumlah kasus BPH di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara untuk tahun 2015 belum diketahui pasti, berdasarkan data awal yang diperoleh dari poliklinik urologi RS. Bhayangkara Kendari periode September - Desember tahun 2015 tercatat 75 (38,65%) kasus BPH dari 194 pasien yang memeriksakan diri sedangkan pada tahun 2016 periode Januari - Maret sebanyak 154 (34,37%) kasus BPH dari 448 pasien yang memeriksakan diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor resiko kejadian Benigna Prostat Hiperplasia (BPH) di Poliklinik Urologi Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Kendari.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey analitik dengan desain penelitian cross sectional study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini semua pasien BPH yang tercatat di Poliklinik Urologi Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Kendari yang pada bulan Januari - Maret 2016 sebanyak 154 pasien. Hasil penelitian diolah menggunakan uji statisti chi-square (X2) dan uji alternatif fisher’s exact test (p).

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa riwayat genetik (OR = 4,04), penyakit diabetes mellitus (OR = 4,20), aktifitas seksual (OR = 1,23) sebagai faktor resiko kejadian Benigna Prostat Hiperplasia (BPH) di Poli Klinik Urologi Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Kendari.

Disarankan kepada perawat yang bertugas di Poli klinik Urologi agar terus melaksanakan upaya penyuluhan kesehatan kepada penderita BPH dan keluarganya tentang faktor risiko kejadian BPH untuk memberikan dan meningkatkan pengetahuan serta pemahaman mereka tentang faktor risiko BPH.

 

Abstract

 Cases of BPH in Southeast Sulawesi Province for 2015 is not yet known for sure, based on preliminary data obtained from urology clinic Bhayangkara hospital Kendari period from September to December recorded 75 (38.65%) of 194 cases of BPH patients while in 2016 the period of January to March of 154 (34.37%) of 448 cases of BPH patients who present. This study aims to determine risk factors for the incidence of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) in Urology Polyclinic Bhayangkara Hospitals Kendari.

Type of this research is analytic survey with cross sectional study design. The population in this study all patients with BPH were recorded in the Urology Clinic Bhayangkara Hospitals Kendari which in January - March 2016 as many as 154 patients. Results were analyzed using chi-square test statisti (X2) and the alternative test Fisher's exact test (p).

These results indicate that the genetic history (OR = 4,04), diabetes mellitus (OR = 4,20), sexual activity (OR = 1,23) as a risk factor for the incidence of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) in Poly Clinic Urology Bhayangkara Hospitals Kendari. Suggested to the nurse on duty poly urology clinic doing to improve health education efforts to BPH patients and their families about the risk factors of BPH to provide and improve the knowledge and understanding of risk factors for BPH.
