Hubungan Dukungan Suami dengan Kelancaran Proses Persalinan Kala I di Ruang Delima Rumah Sakit Umum Bahteramas Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara Tahun 2014

Abstract

Hasil survey awal, dari 10 ibu bersalin terdapat 7 orang ibu bersalin didampingi oleh suami dalam menjalani proses persalinan mengatakan sangat cemas saat menghadapi proses persalinan yang akan dijalani, satu – satunya yang mereka butuhkan saat ini adalah dukungan dari suami. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan suami dengan kelancaran proses persalinan kala I di Ruang Delima Rumah Sakit Umum Bahteramas Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara Tahun 2014. Jenis penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4 Juni – 4 Juli 2014. Populasi dan sampel adalah ibu bersalin di Ruang Delima Rumah Sakit Umum Bahteramas Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara yang berjumlah 30 orang dengan tekhnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik accidental sampling.  Hasil penelitian : ada hubungan dukungan suami secara fisik dengan kelancaran proses persalinan kala I dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 sehingga terlihat nilai x² continuity correction diperoleh nilai p (0,003) < nilai α (0,05). Tidak ada hubungan tidak ada hubungan dukungan suami secara emosional dengan kelancaran proses persalinan kala I dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 sehingga terlihat nilai x² continuity correction diperoleh nilai p (0,053) > nilai α (0,05).  Kesimpulan ada hubungan dukungan suami secara fisik dengan kelancaran proses persalinan kala I, Tidak ada hubungan tidak ada hubungan dukungan suami secara emosional dengan kelancaran proses persalinan kala I. Saran agar lebih meningkatkan kesadaran dan profesionalismenya dalam melaksanakan peran dan fungsinya dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat.

Abstrack

Based on the beginning survey, 7 of 10 mother who were pregnant and were accompanied by their husband when they gave a birth said that they are worried during the giving birth process. The onky one thing that they need is the support of their husband. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship of support of husband with smoothness of delivery process stage 1 in the delima room of Bahteramas general hospital of Southeast Sulawesi 2014. This was an observational analytic study with cross sectional study approach. The study was conducted on 4 June – 4 July 2014. Population and sample of the study was maternity mother in the delima room of Bahteramas general hospital of Southeast Sulawesi 2014 as many as 30 respondents using accidental sampling technique. The study results : there was a relationship of support of husband physically with the smoothness of delivery process stage 1 with the significant level 0,05 so that the value of x² continuity correction obtained the value of p (0,003) < α (0,05). There was no relationship of support of husband emotionally with the smoothness of delivery process stage 1 with the significant level 0,05 so that the value of x² continuity correction obtained the value of p (0,053) > α (0,05). The conclusion that there was a relationship of support of husband physically with the smoothness of delivery process stage 1, there was no relationship of support of husband emotionally with the smoothness of delivery process stage 1. The suggestion of the study to further improve awareness and professionalism of nurses in the implementation of their roles and the function in the provision of health care services to the community.
