Pengalaman Petugas Kesehatan dalam Pelaksanaan Tes Cepat Molekuler (TCM) di UPTD Rumah Sakit Khusus Paru Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Tuberkulosis (TB) saat ini masih merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat baik di Indonesia maupun internasional sehingga menjadi salah satu tujuan pembangunan kesehatan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh petugas kesehatan yang bekerja di Unit Laboratorium UPTD Rumah Sakit Khusus Paru yaitu sebanyak 11 orang. Teknik pengambilan partisipan dilakukan dengan purposive sampling sebanyak 6 partisipan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di UPTD Rumah Sakit Khusus Paru Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bulan April- Agustus 2023. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan 8 tema yaitu : pengumpulan spesimen TBC, pengiriman spesimen TBC, penerimaan dan penyimpanan sampel, prosedur preparasi dan pemeriksaan TCM, hasil pemeriksaan TCM, pelaporan hasil TCM, hambatan dan kendala dalam pemeriksaan TCM dan tema peran manajemen rumah sakit. Saran bagi pasien yang melakukan pemeriksaan TCM agar mengikuti petunjuk dan instruksi dari petugas kesehatan dengan cermat. Pastikan untuk memberikan sampel sesuai dengan petunjuk yang diberikan.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is currently still a public health problem both in Indonesia and internationally, so it has become one of the goals of sustainable health development. This research is qualitative researvh with a phenomenological approach. The population in this study were all health workers who worked in UPTD Pulmonary Hospital, namely 11 people. The participant collection technique was carried out using purposive sampling of 6 partisipants. This research was conducted at the UPTD Pulmonary Hospital of The North Sumatra Province Health Service. This research was carried out in April- August 2023. Based on the research results, 8 themes were obtained, namely: the theme of collecting TB specimens, the theme of sending TB specimen, the theme of receiving and storing samples, the theme of TCM preparation and examination procedures, the theme of TCM examination results, the theme of reporting TCM results, the theme of barries and contraints in TCM examination and the theme of the role of hospital management. The advice in this research is for patients undergoing TCM examination to follow the instruction and instruction from health worker carefully. Be sure to provide samples according to the instryctions provided.
