Abstract

Abstrak. Konseling HIV/AIDS yang dilakukan oleh konselor merupakan proses dengan tiga tujuan umum yaitu menyediakan dukungan psikologik, pencegahan penularan HIV, dan memastikan efektifitas rujukan kesehatan. Kasus HIV di Puskesmas Motaha dijumpai sebanyak 1 kasus pada ibu hamil dan sedang menjalani pengobatan ARV di Rumah Sakit Bahteramas. Survey awal oleh peneliti pada 10 ibu hamil yang melakukan Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT), 4 diantaranya mengetahui tentang HIV/AIDS, sedangkan 6 ibu hamil mengatakan kurang mengetahui tentang HIV/AIDS. Data ini menunjukan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan Ibu hamil tentang HIV masih kurang dalam melakukan VCT. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh VCT terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil tentang HIV/AIDS di Puskesmas Motaha Kecamatan Angata Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan pendekatan One-Group Pre-Test-Post-Test. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 20 orang, jumlah sampel 17 responden diperoleh dengan teknik accidental sampling Metode analisis menggunakan uji Statistik yakni Paired t-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh VCT terhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil di Puskesmas Motaha Kecamatan Angata Kabupaten Konawe Selatan dan ada perbedaan nilai mean pre test 4,24 sedangkan post test 7,29, ada pengaruh Voluntary counseling and testing (VCT) efektif terhadap sikap ibu hamil di Puskesmas Motaha Kecamatan Angata Kabupaten Konawe Selatan dan ada perbedaan nilai mean pre test 38,76 sedangkan post test 44,41. Diharapkan bagi petugas kesehatan (dokter dan perawat) di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Motaha, agar menjalakan konseling terhadap ibu hamil agar dapat memberikan informasi khususnya HIV/AIDS.

 Abstract. HIV / AIDS counseling by counselors is a three-purpose process providing psychological support, prevention of HIV transmission, and ensuring the effectiveness of health referrals. HIV cases in the Motaha health center were found in 1 case in pregnant women and were undergoing ARV treatment at Bahteramas Hospital. An initial survey of 10 pregnant women who did Voluntary Counseling and Tests (VCT), 4 of them knew about HIV / AIDS, while 6 pregnant women said they did not know about HIV / AIDS. This data shows that the knowledge of pregnant women about HIV is still lacking in VCT. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of VCT on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about HIV / AIDS in the Motaha Health Center in Subdistrict Angata Konawe Selatan. This research is a pre-experimental study with the One-Group Pre-Test-Post-Test approach. The study population was 20 people, the number of samples was 17 respondents obtained by the analytical accidental sampling method using Paired t-test. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of VCT on the knowledge of pregnant women in Motaha Health Center Subdistrict Angata Konawe Selatan and there is a difference in pre-test value of 4.24 while post-test 7.29 is influenced by pregnant Voluntary counseling and testing (VCT) at Angata Health Center Motaha Angata Subdistrict, Konawe Selatan Regency and there are differences in the pre-test average value of 38.76 while the post test is 44.41. It is expected that health care personnel(doctors and nurses) in the work area of ​​the Motaha Medical Center, in order to provide counseling to pregnant women to provide information specifically for HIV / AIDS.
