Hubungan Pemberian Air Susu Ibu (ASI) Eksklusif dengan Perkembangan Bicara pada Balita Usia 2-4 Tahun di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Poasia Kota Kendari

Abstract

Abstrak. ASI Ekslusif penting untuk menunjang perkembangan Balita. Cakupan ASI Eksklusif di Puskesmas Poasia tahun 2018 sebesar 42,8%, tahun 2019 menjadi 45,9% dan tahun 2020 sebanyak 49,4%. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pemberian ASI Eksklusif dengan perkembangan bicara pada Balita Usia 2-4 Tahun. Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, desain cross sectional study. Populasi adalah seluruh Balita usia 2-4 Tahun periode Juni Tahun 2021 di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Poasia sebanyak 164 orang dan sampel berjumlah 62 orang yang diperoleh dengan cara accidental sampling. Data pemberian ASI Eksklusif dan perkembangan bicara diperoleh dengan kuesioner. Data dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariate menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian pada Balita usia 2-4 tahun sebagian besar tidak diberikan ASI Eksklusif sebanyak 53,2%, selebihnya diberikan ASI Eksklusif sebanyak 46,8%, Uji chi-square diperoleh p value 0,001. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan pemberian air susu ibu (ASI) Eksklusif dengan perkembangan bicara pada Balita usia 2-4 tahun di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Poasia Kota Kendari. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar mengkaji faktor lain yang menyebabkan perkembangan abnormal pada Balita dan menganalisis penyebab rendahnya pemberian ASI Eksklusif.

Absctract Exclusive Breast Milk (ASI) plays a role in supporting the development of Toddlers. Exclusive breastfeeding coverage at the Poasia Health Center in 2018 was 42.8%, in 2019 it was 45.9% and in 2020 it was 49.4%. The results showed that the exclusive breastfeeding for toddlers aged 2-4 years was mostly not given exclusive breastfeeding as much as 53.2%, the rest were given exclusive breastfeeding as much as 46.8%. The results of the chi-square test obtained a p value of 0.001. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and speech development in toddlers aged 2-4 years in the working area of ​​the Poasia Health Center, Kendari City. Suggestions for further researchers are to examine other factors that cause abnormal development in toddlers and analyze the causes of low exclusive breastfeeding.
